We're in the throes of Quarterly Assessments here in fourth grade. So far, we've completed Reading, Writing, Social Studies, and Science.
By far, my favorite answer so far on these common assessments is to the following:
Using the map, what region(s) of Kentucky have the most coal?
Illinois
Runner up? Virginia
Second runner up? West Virginia
Apparently, I slip into Russian while I'm teaching. Something is getting lost in translation.
