CHRISTMAS WITH A CAT

What appears to be wrong with my Christmas tree? Could it be possible that there is a higher concentration of lights on the top than on the bottom? THIS IS WHY I HATE MY CAT DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON!!!!!
