THE POWER OF PRAYER

We're doing Calculator War Tests this week in 3rd through 6th grade. It's a bone of contention with me, but that isn't the point of the story. The point of the story is that this week, whatever grade level gets the highest scores, gets a big pizza party. I also told my kids if they can get 5 more points than last time, I will give them a popcorn and pop and movie party this Friday.

So, it was H.Y.S.T.E.R.I.C.A.L. when I witnessed one of my students, slap his hands together, and fervently pray for a good outcome on his test!

Ahhhhh ... the power of prayer!
